“SO, WHO is lacey?”
Hello! I’m Lacey, and I am obsessed with DIY projects, and saving money! Not only am I addicted to DIY, but I LOVE teaching others how to enhance their own DIY skillsets!
To be honest, if you’re reading this right now then chances are that you’re a lot like me.
Putting it simply, I’m an ambitious, impulsive, and creative perfectionist that isn’t afraid to be bold.
Okay, so maybe that wasn’t exactly putting it “simply,” but I’m sure you get the idea!
I love to laugh, and be silly!
My husband, Colin, and I were high school sweethearts, and he is major contributor to One Day of Honey!
We have a little boy named Everett who thoroughly enjoys helping his mommy and daddy with their projects around the house.
ONE DAY OF HONEY
I was bitten by the “artistic,” bug at a young age. My idea of fun was making up plays, and performing them at school in front of my elementary class.
In high school, I turned my eye toward photography to further explore my creativity.
As I grew older, and was entering that point in my life when I needed to consider a future career, I didn’t like the idea of being tied down to one profession, but alas when I arrived for my freshman year of college, I had to choose a major.
To make a long story, short . . . I am a Registered Dietitian now.
“WAIT . . . WHAT?”
Mistakenly, I did not follow my heart or my gut. I opted for a safe option. Don’t get me wrong, being a Registered Dietitian can be rewarding, but there is one major thing missing . . . PASSION.
That craving to be in a creative field has never left me, and frankly it never will. If you can’t get something out of your mind, then it is obviously supposed to be there right?
And now, here you are, reading my blog, and probably wondering if you should stick around.
Short Answer: Heck yes you should!
What are some things that I am going to teach you about on One Day of Honey? Well just to name a few . . .
How to save your money instead of throwing it away by learning how to tackle home improvement projects yourself.
How to decorate your home confidently and inexpensively.
How to organize those cluttered spaces with ease and positivity.
So how about we get things started? I would love to gift you with my “Finding the Best Used Furniture Like a Boss,” checklist! It’s totally free!
